Our ideal candidate should have strong communication that allows them to translate complex findings to all stakeholders. This individual should be driven by an inquisitive curiosity to learn, and can pick up new knowledge and skills independently. Evite is looking for motivated individuals to help bring our “What If” philosophy to life.

Core Capabilities:

  • Advanced skill to build responsively designed client-side experiences across these four front-end technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS, React)
  • Extensive experience working full stack - our backend is built in Python and Django, but we won’t hold it against you if your experience is in some other backend language or framework.
  • Experience with complex projects and the ability to work cross-team to solve problems

Must Have Capabilities:

  • Communication - You're an eloquent speaker who can explain anything to everyone. You are also a clear and concise writer.
  • Critical Thinking - You love logic and data. Thinking strategically is your forte. You enjoy diagnosing complex problems and formulating plans of attack to resolve them. You enjoy an environment where everyone is encouraged to add value at the most strategic level.
  • Cultural Fit - You have a craving to fit in a fast-paced, high-integrity, low hand-holding environment (but you will get a hug if you need it). EQ is as important as IQ. You want to help bring our "What If" philosophy to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Help lead the adoption of progressive front-end technologies
  • Collaborate with our product team and UX/UI designers for technical guidance in building elegant and deceptively simple user interfaces
  • Develop browser-based software for both or desktop and mobile web experiences
  • Participate in development of unit tests and code reviews
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues
  • Participate in our Agile Scrum process including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms is a plus (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure)
  • Proficient working with a Unix/Linux operating system
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to expand your skill sets and learn new technologies
  • Relentless dedication and discipline in building world-class enduring software
  • BA/BS, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with machine learning is a plus

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 5/31/2023
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We are also required to measure our progress toward having at least 7% of our workforce be individuals with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had a disability. Because a person may become disabled at any time, we ask all of our employees to update their information at least every five years.

Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self-identified in the past. For more information about this form or the equal employment obligations of federal contractors under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
